London Marathon 2011
Jim Huckerby has decided to run the 2011 Virgin London Marathon to raise funds for The Prince's Trust. Jim is taking this very seriously and has been in training since the begining of the year.
If you are not already aware, around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion every year.
The Prince's Trust addresses this by giving practical and financial support to the young people who need it most. They help to develop key skills, confidence and motivation thereby enabling young people to move into work, education or training.
Now more than ever young people need our help. During this difficult economic time young people are pushed further and further away from job opportunities as competition for these vacancies increases and apprenticeships and entry schemes are reduced. Demand for the Princes Trust’s programmes is increasing - young people need our support!
Please help Jim to raise as much money as possible. You can do this in two ways. You can sponsor him in the traditional way, by filling in a form in which case Jim would urge you to drop into our office or send him an email at jim@hayward-architects.co.uk. Alternatively, you do it the easy way by going on line at http://www.justgiving.com/Jim-Huckerby.
